Carousel is a game that’s easy to understand play but difficult to master. It’s a matching game with 48 levels of increasing difficulty.

Completing each level is easy - match up the ‘carousels’ (this name for the segmented circles stuck at an early stage) - there are several pairs of them on the screen. When they’re matched, game over. If you don’t match them before the “clock” runs out, then try again.

Tap once to select a ‘carousel’, tap a second to match (or tap the first again to deselect) …. and that’s all the instructions.

Completing a level gains you access to the next one - there are 48 over four ‘pages’ (swipe left and right on the select page to see the others). Progress is saved between runs of the program.

The first dozen or so levels are dead easy, and are just to get you into the swing of it. It does get more difficult, and later much more difficult.

In case it gets too difficult, or alternatively you are really smart and it’s too easy, you can change the level from the default ‘medium’ to hard or easy (this makes things roughly 30% harder or 30% easier respectively). This is on the level select page, along with the audio on/off control.

As well as being a (hopefully) fun and (occasionally) infuriating puzzle game, the game should also improve your concentration and eye tracking skills.

This is free - there are no in app purchases or anything else to buy, but there are periodic advertisements shown, however internet connection is not required, it will work fine witho
